Today’s sixth form students are tomorrow's leaders. With this in mind we provide a variety of ways for our sixth form students to show their leadership potential.
We offer the opportunity for Post 16 students to support younger years in maths & English as well as becoming mentors for Y7&8 students.
Post 16 Doncaster is working with local primary schools to allow students access to primary education to enable them to gain experience of working with young people.
A student parliament was introduced in 2020 with a Prime Minister and full cabinet. The cabinet meets regularly to discuss a range of activities including charity fundraising events, acting as ambassadors and helping out at volunteering events. They also focus on ways to improve facilities within the post 16 centre, addressing new challenges and needs for the increasing numbers of students at Doncaster post 16.
